Ryoko Kui's Delicious in Dungeon ran in Kadokawa's Harta from 2014 to 2023 and was collected in 14 volumes. When a dragon swallows Laios's sister, his party is left with no money and no supplies. Rather than retreat, they descend the dungeon to rescue her, feeding themselves on the monsters they kill.
The comedy of cooking a giant scorpion or a walking mushroom is the entry point. Underneath it, Kui works out the dungeon as a functioning ecosystem: what eats what, how a living suit of armour might be built inside, why a monster would evolve the way it has. The recipes come with diagrams.
