Streaked lines drawn across a panel to imply motion, force or focus in an image that is physically static. The term reduces to 9 — the closing.

Speed lines are dense parallel strokes suggesting movement. A figure drawn against streaking lines reads as travelling fast, though nothing on the page moves.
Background streaks replace the setting entirely with directional lines, conveying velocity and removing anything that would slow the eye. The character appears to move because their surroundings have dissolved into motion.
Focus lines radiate inward toward a point rather than running parallel. These indicate no movement at all — they indicate attention, shock or sudden realisation, pulling the eye to exactly where the artist wants it.
They do two jobs simultaneously. They communicate motion, and they physically drag the reader's gaze along their direction, so the eye travels the same path the action does. A panel of speed lines is steering you as well as informing you.
The impact frame — a panel of abstract chaos at the moment of collision — is the extreme version of the same logic, replacing depiction entirely on the assumption the reader will supply something better.
The arithmetic is unremarkable and worth doing anyway: 45 across 2 words, reducing to 9. The weight sits in “Lines”, which carries 23 on its own and reduces to 5.
Nine is humanitarian & sage — endings, compassion, and the closing of cycles. The reference files it as a completion. Read that way, what the entry is really recording is the 9's sense of a cycle closing and something being released.
