Star Trek: Voyager Game Unveils Expansion Pass, Adds USS Equinox

Star Trek: Voyager – Across The Unknown just dropped a bombshell: an Expansion Pass is coming, and it promises to bring the infamous USS Equinox into play. Developer Gamexcite and publisher Daedalic Entertainment are clearly listening to fans, adding content many felt was missing from the base game.
First up is the "Delta Chronicles" DLC, available now. It packs five new side missions, drawing directly from iconic Voyager episodes like "The Omega Directive" and "Distant Origin." What's cool is that players can make their own choices, potentially altering outcomes from the show. Plus, you can now recruit holographic Reginald Barclay and the Voth scientist Dr. Gegen as playable heroes. Four new NPC ships, including the formidable Voth City Ship and a recruitable Ferengi Marauder, spice up the Delta Quadrant. New tech also rounds out the package.
Alongside the premium DLC, a free Patch 1.8 hit today. It’s a solid update, adding seven new ship quests, UI upgrades, balancing tweaks, and quality-of-life improvements. This patch clearly comes from community feedback, which is always great to see.
“The Expansion Pass promises to bring the infamous USS Equinox into play, a move many fans will celebrate.”
More Stories
The Expansion Pass itself will roll out four premium DLCs over the next year. Future content includes more side missions and, crucially, the USS Equinox as a playable starship for an upcoming game mode. A new sector based on another celebrated Voyager episode is also on the way. These additions promise to offer entirely new ways to explore the Delta Quadrant, making a fresh playthrough appealing even for veteran captains.
Catzye Take
This is a big win for Voyager fans who felt some classic elements were missing from the base game. The inclusion of the Equinox as a playable ship is a smart move, tapping into a memorable, darker chapter of Voyager's journey. It'll be interesting to see how these branching narrative choices play out and if they pave the way for more 'what if' scenarios in future Star Trek games.
Numerological Reading
Reading: Gamexcite
Read through its central name, Gamexcite, this story reduces to a Destiny 6 — Nurturer & Harmonizer. That this is a beginning sharpens the 6's pull toward responsibility, care, and the people involved.
The 6 is the caretaker — warm, responsible, and devoted to home and community. It heals and harmonizes, and grows heavy when duty turns into control.
How the numbers are built
- Destiny
- 42 → 6 = 6
- Heart
- 20 → 2 = 2
- Personality
- 22 = 22
The subject is reduced with standard Pythagorean numerology — each letter mapped to a digit 1–9, summed, and reduced to a single digit or master number. A lens for paying attention, not a forecast.
