Katamari Rolls Out New Competitive Multiplayer Mode on Switch This October

Katamari fans, mark your calendars! Bandai Namco just announced Once Upon A Katamari rolls onto Nintendo Switch on October 8. This isn't just a re-roll; it’s a fresh adventure across time with new stages and, most notably, a competitive multiplayer mode.
The biggest news? Players can finally challenge friends in KatamariBall, a four-player competitive mode. Battle online or offline to build the biggest Katamari and dominate. This is a significant shift for the beloved series, traditionally known for its quirky, single-player charm.
Once Upon A Katamari mixes its iconic soundtrack with new tunes, and offers enhanced customization for the Prince and his many cousins. A new magnet tool helps snag items. The Rolling LIVE Highlights DLC also launches with the game, adding ten quests and music from the mobile title Katamari Damacy Rolling LIVE. This looks like the fresh Katamari experience fans have been craving.
