Katamari fans, mark your calendars! Bandai Namco just announced Once Upon A Katamari rolls onto Nintendo Switch on October 8. This isn't just a re-roll; it’s a fresh adventure across time with new stages and, most notably, a competitive multiplayer mode.
The biggest news? Players can finally challenge friends in KatamariBall, a four-player competitive mode. Battle online or offline to build the biggest Katamari and dominate. This is a significant shift for the beloved series, traditionally known for its quirky, single-player charm.
Once Upon A Katamari mixes its iconic soundtrack with new tunes, and offers enhanced customization for the Prince and his many cousins. A new magnet tool helps snag items. The Rolling LIVE Highlights DLC also launches with the game, adding ten quests and music from the mobile title Katamari Damacy Rolling LIVE.
