Hold Up: British Comedy 'Ghosts' Film Is Back?

Okay, Catzye faithful, let's be direct: this isn't anime. Somehow, news of a British comedy film landed on our desk, and here we are. The critically acclaimed British series Ghosts is returning with a feature-length film, "The Possession of Button House," hitting theaters October 23rd.
For the uninitiated (which we suspect is most of you), Ghosts follows a varied group of historical spirits haunting a country estate. Its new, very much alive owners, struggle to live alongside them. Think quirky ensemble comedy with a supernatural twist, less yokai battles, more existential British humor.
The entire original cast and creators — Mathew Baynton, Simon Farnaby, Martha Howe-Douglas, Jim Howick, Laurence Rickard, and Ben Willbond — are back, both starring and writing. Lolly Adefope, Charlotte Ritchie, and Kiell Smith-Bynoe also return. Creators stated a compelling new story drew them back, despite initial plans for no comeback.

Catzye Take
Alright, Catzye team here. This article was... unexpected. While we usually stick to the latest in shonen and shojo, it seems even we aren't immune to the occasional cross-dimensional news brief. Maybe consider this a palate cleanser before the next big seasonal anime drop? We'll ensure our news filters are set to 'anime only' from now on.
