Yuki Kajiura Joins A-1 Pictures' 'Seven Sleeping Beauties' Anime, Set for 2027

A-1 Pictures is tackling a new adaptation, but fans will have to wait a while. The renowned studio officially announced a TV anime for Lee Fiok's romance manga, 7-nin no Nemurihime (Seven Sleeping Beauties), set to premiere in a distant 2027. This marks another significant Japanese anime adaptation of a Korean webnovel-turned-manga.
The project boasts an all-star team. Shunsuke Tada (Kuroko's Basketball) directs, while Tatsuhiko Urahata (Monster) handles series composition. The legendary Yuki Kajiura (Madoka Magica, SAO) is composing the music, a huge win for the soundtrack. A strong cast includes Yoshino Aoyama (Bocchi the Rock!) and Miku Itou. Avex Pictures is backing the production.

Catzye Take
This is a major score for a relatively new adaptation, especially with Yuki Kajiura on board. Fans of romance and great scores should definitely keep this on their radar. What's interesting is the growing trend of Korean webtoons getting big Japanese anime adaptations.
