Yoko Shimomura Arranges Undertale! Two New Vinyl Albums Revealed

Yoko Shimomura, the legendary composer behind Kingdom Hearts and Street Fighter II, is lending her iconic touch to Undertale. Black Screen Records just announced two new vinyl albums for Toby Fox's indie darling, with Shimomura's piano arrangements leading the charge. This isn't just another game soundtrack on wax; it's a major crossover moment that elevates the beloved RPG's music.
Joining Shimomura's classical interpretations is a "Chill Arrange" album, imported directly from Japan. This luxurious 2-disc, 20-track set reimagines fan-favorite tunes like MEGALOVANIA, His Theme, and Hopes and Dreams with exquisite lo-fi beats. Square Enix Music assembled a dream team of 10 top Japanese street artists, including tofubeats, MURO, and DJ Mitsu the Beats, to craft these ultimate relaxation tracks. Painter NOVOL provides striking original artwork, making it a treat for both ears and eyes.
Both albums are available for pre-order now for €45 each. Fans will need patience, however, as the release isn't slated until October 2026. Still, the wait feels warranted for such a premium, star-studded offering that blends Undertale's unique charm with an incredible roster of musical talent.
