The Martian Author Andy Weir Drops Exclusive Comic, No Rerelease Planned

Bestselling author Andy Weir, the mastermind behind blockbusters like The Martian and Project Hail Mary, is making a surprise return to comics – but you’ll have to act fast to get his new story. Weir’s latest comic contribution is exclusive to Parallel Truths, a new graphic novel anthology currently crowdfunding on Kickstarter. This isn't Weir's first foray into sequential art. He originally cut his teeth in webcomics with titles like Casey and Andy and Cheshire Crossing before his prose career took off. Now, he's collaborating with 2000AD artist Lee Townsend on a brand new tale for Parallel Truths.

The anthology itself brings together a diverse lineup of a dozen prose authors and fifteen artists. It explores the compelling theme of parallel lives – what if another version of your life existed somewhere else? This 248-page multi-genre collection is spearheaded by longtime comics writer Tony Lee and Legendary Comics' Rob Napton, designed to give indie authors a gateway into the comic world.
