Studio DEEN's Oni no Hanayome Drops First Trailer, Sets July Premiere

Fans finally got their first real look at Studio DEEN's Oni no Hanayome (The Ogre's Bride) this weekend. The anime adaptation of Kureha's popular fantasy romance novel just unveiled its debut promotional video, key visual, and a July 5 premiere date. Get ready to mark your calendars!
The new trailer gives a tantalizing glimpse into the mystical world of The Ogre's Bride. Studio DEEN, known for everything from Rurouni Kenshin to recent hits, takes the helm. They've also brought in a solid team, with Ryou Tanaka (Mushoku Tensei: Jobless Reincarnation) as Sound Director and Shun Narita (I'm the Villainess, So I'm Taming the Final Boss) handling music.
Opening theme "Kurenai" comes from Hiroto, with Miyu Sakurauchi performing the ending theme "Tsuki no Hana." The series kicks off July 5 at 12:30 a.m. JST on Tokyo MX and other channels. It's shaping up to be a compelling addition to the summer lineup.

Catzye Take
What's interesting here is Studio DEEN's consistent output across genres. While some fans might have mixed feelings about their recent track record, securing a known sound director like Ryou Tanaka bodes well. This could be a dark horse fantasy romance for the summer.
