Sergeant Coyle Takes Over as Warden in The Outlast Trials Season 7: Project Boneyard

The Outlast Trials is about to get a whole lot more terrifying. Developer Red Barrels just dropped the bomb: Season 7, dubbed Project Boneyard, launches on July 14. Fans of the psychological horror series should brace themselves.
The biggest shocker? Sergeant Leland Coyle is back, and he's not messing around. This time, Coyle takes on a chilling new role as Locksock the Warden in the brand-new Sinyala Facility. This isn't just a new map; it's Murkoff's latest correctional nightmare, promising authority as currency and punishment as policy. Prepare for extreme conditioning and close-quarters terror.
Alongside Coyle's brutal return, players will face "The Biter," a new Ex-Pop enemy stalking the Prison Farm. These universal sadists, with their mechanically enforced jaws and augmented legs, promise a fresh layer of dread. Beyond the new horrors, Project Boneyard introduces significant gameplay updates. Expect two fresh MK-Challenges and major reworks to both Escalation and Invasion modes, designed to improve flow and player experience.

Catzye Take
Red Barrels continues to deliver the gut-wrenching horror fans crave, and Coyle's return as a new Warden is a genius move for season 7. It’s great to see more customization options too, letting players personalize their suffering. We're eager to see how the new facility ratchets up the psychological terror.
