Riftbound: Vendetta Unleashes Iconic League of Legends Rivalries

Riot Games and UVS Games just pulled back the curtain on Riftbound: Vendetta, the TCG's fourth set. This isn't just another card dump; Vendetta leans hard into iconic rivalries, bringing fan-favorite League of Legends Legends like Shen and Zed, or Mel and Ambessa, into direct conflict. It's about clashes that define champions, conflicts that make legends.
New mechanics like Flow, Burn, and Empower debut, alongside a new card type, Unit-Gear, and various tokens. Perhaps the biggest draw? New 'Showdown Decks' offer ready-to-play experiences, kicking off with a pre-built Shen vs. Zed face-off, perfect for jumping straight into the action.
Fans can jump into Pre-Rift events starting July 24. The full set drops July 31 for English and Chinese, with a French release following October 23.

Catzye Take
What's exciting here is how Riot is weaving deeper lore into the TCG through these character-driven rivalries. The 'Showdown Decks' are a smart move too, making it easier for new players to jump in without needing to build a deck from scratch. Fans will want to watch for how these iconic LoL conflicts play out on the tabletop.
