Oblivious Saint Anime Cast Expands Ahead of June Premiere

Get ready for more accidental heroics! The upcoming anime, *The Oblivious Saint Can't Contain Her Power*, just beefed up its cast with new additions and dropped a fresh key visual. This fantasy series, known for its comically long title in Japan, *Mujikaku Seijo wa Kyou mo Muishiki ni Chikara wo Tare Nagasu*, is shaping up to be a charming take on the "overpowered but oblivious" trope.
Natsumi Takamori (known for *Another*'s Mei Misaki) joins the cast as Alicia, Latte's official saint sister. Yuka Iguchi (*A Certain Magical Index*'s Index) voices Clover, and Ai Kakuma (*Amagi Brilliant Park*'s Isuzu Sento) takes on Ririka. They join the already announced Konomi Kohara (Latte) and Kenjiro Tsuda (Zeke), promising a vibrant vocal ensemble.
Yokohama Animation Lab, which previously animated *The Great Cleric*, is producing. Director Satoru Takada (from *Kaiju Girls*) and series composer Keiichirou Oochi (*The Quintessential Quintuplets*) are at the helm. This team brings a solid track record to the project.
“This fantasy series is shaping up to be a charming take on the 'overpowered but oblivious' trope.”

The story centers on Latte, who unknowingly heals and saves the kingdom with her immense, uncontrolled power, all while believing she's just clumsy. Her younger sister, Alicia, carries the public title of "saint." It’s a classic setup for charming misunderstandings and lighthearted fantasy.
Catch *The Oblivious Saint Can't Contain Her Power* when it premieres on June 30.
Catzye Take
What's interesting here is the continued trend of 'clumsy but secretly overpowered' protagonists. Fans looking for lighthearted fantasy with a comedic bent will definitely want to give this a try. The cast additions are solid, so the voice work should be a highlight.
