Maiden Court Fantasy 'Futsutsuka na Akujo' Sets July Premiere with Saori Hayami

The maiden court fantasy Futsutsuka na Akujo dewa Gozaimasu ga: Suuguu Chouso Torikae Den, known simply as Futsutsuka na Akujo, is ready to charm us this summer! This highly anticipated series officially kicks off July 12. Fans got a fresh look with a new promotional video, revealing even more cast members and the opening theme.

The biggest news? Superstar Saori Hayami (Yor Forger in Spy x Family) leads the charge as Juhwa, lending her incredible range to the titular "inept villainess." Ryota Suzuki joins her as Jusei, alongside a strong lineup including Shizuka Ishigami and Haruna Mikawa. Kaori Maeda (Mariya Nagita from Oshi no Ko) performs the opening theme, "Kawaikunai Oneechan," a title that perfectly hints at the show's playful tone.

This is a story packed with intrigue: a body-swap tale set in a fantastical maiden court. Our "villainess" Juhwa finds herself trading bodies with a young girl from the lower court, triggering a chain of events with serious court politics at stake.

Director Yuji Yanase (known for his work on "By the Grace of the Gods 2" and "I'm the Villainess, So I'm Taming the Final Boss") helms the project at Children's Playground Entertainment.
