Magic Knight Rayearth Revives with All-Star Cast, October Premiere

Magic Knight Rayearth is back, and it's bringing some serious voice acting firepower. At Anime Expo 2026's World Premiere panel, CLAMP's classic mahou shoujo series revealed its new anime's premiere date and a stacked cast. Fans have waited years for this revival.
Get ready for October 7 at 11:45 PM. That's when the new Magic Knight Rayearth anime hits TV Asahi's "IMAnimation W" block. A new key visual and promo video also dropped, giving us a fresh look at the modernized take on a beloved world.
The cast reveal is huge. Yuuki Kaji, known for Eren in Attack on Titan and Deku in My Hero Academia, takes on Clef. Emiri Katou, the voice of Kyubey in Madoka Magica, voices Presea. And Yoshitsugu Matsuoka, Kirito from Sword Art Online, joins as Ferio. This star-studded lineup promises an epic return for a beloved franchise.
