Lara Croft Invades G.I. Joe in Shock Crossover Event

Lara Croft, the iconic Tomb Raider, just pulled off an impossible stealth mission: a surprise appearance in G.I. JOE: A Real American Hero #330. Her unannounced cameo wasn't just a shocker; it instantly blew up the internet and sold out the issue. Now, a full G.I. Joe / Tomb Raider crossover series is officially on the way this October.

This isn't a drill. Skybound and Image Comics, in collaboration with Hasbro and Crystal Dynamics, dropped the bombshell. Croft infiltrated Castle Destro in the pages of #330, setting the stage for an unprecedented adventure. This marks the first time ever these two legendary franchises have met in comic book history. It's a truly unexpected pairing.

The crossover limited series, G.I. JOE: A Real American Hero/Tomb Raider #1, kicks off October 7, 2026. The creative team includes writer Kyle Higgins, artist Elena Casagrande, colourist Alex Guimarães, and letterer Pat Brosseau. Issue #330 returns to print on August 12, 2026, with a new Lara Croft cover by Chris Mooneyham. Fans definitely won't want to miss this historic moment.
