Invincible Goes for Six: Season 6 Confirmed, Jack Quaid Joins Season 5

Invincible fans, get ready for the long haul – and more bloodshed. Amazon Prime Video just greenlit the acclaimed animated series for a sixth season. That's right, we're not just looking at a Season 5 anymore, but a full roadmap extending even further into the future for Robert Kirkman's brutal superhero saga.
Making the wait for Season 5 (which is eyeing a 2027 premiere, by the way) a little easier, it's officially confirmed that Jack Quaid, beloved for his role as Hughie in The Boys, is joining the cast. He'll voice Gravitator, a character comic fans know as Chris.
Voice acting for Season 5 has already wrapped, with Matthew Rhys returning as Dinosaurus and Lee Pace back as Thragg. One major absence will be Jeffrey Dean Morgan's Conquest; execs confirm he won't be back, despite fan speculation. Also stirring the pot is Aaron Paul, who previously vocalized the physically and emotionally grueling role of Powerplex. While Paul initially stepped away due to the character's intense psychological toll, recent social media activity suggests a potential return. Fans will be watching closely to see if he re-enters the fray.

This multi-season commitment is a huge vote of confidence for Invincible, proving its a cornerstone of Prime Video's animated slate. With Season 5 still years away, this news gives fans a lot to chew on, and Quaid's addition is a solid win for the cast.
