Captain America Teams Up With Doctor Doom... In Hell?!

Captain America is literally in hell, and no, we're not talking about a metaphorical nightmare. Marvel's iconic hero, Steve Rogers, finds his soul trapped in the underworld in Captain America #12, out today. Writer Chip Zdarsky and artist Valerio Schiti plunge Cap into an infernal alliance with none other than Doctor Doom. Doom, surprisingly, wants Cap to ignite a rebellion in Hell itself, echoing his past efforts in Latveria. This twisted team-up forces Cap to confront a new kind of war, offering a shocking fresh perspective away from the ongoing Armageddon battle. What's more, Cap now wields powers akin to Sentry or Hyperion, thanks to those mysterious Origin Boxes. Schiti's art captures the infernal landscapes with stunning intensity. This is a bold new direction for the Sentinel of Liberty, and it's not holding back.

This storyline is a classic example of how modern comics keep legacy characters fresh by pushing them into extreme, unexpected scenarios. Fans will want to see how Steve navigates this demonic alliance and what it means for his powers. It's a huge shift from his usual patriotic duties.
