Koi o Suru Nara Nidome ga Jōtō, known in English as The Best Second Love, is based on the popular boys' love (BL) manga by Hiromasa Okajima. It's a beloved staple in the office BL subgenre, following salaryman Akira and university student Shunsuke. Their unexpected cohabitation and budding romance quickly captured hearts.
Makoto Hasegawa and Robin Furuya are both confirmed to return. They played the lead roles of Akira and Shunsuke, respectively, in the first season, and their chemistry was a major highlight. The new season will premiere on September 1.
