Ahri Gets Major Glow-Up as Wild Rift Patch 7.2 Drops Big Gameplay Changes

Wild Rift is shaking things up big time with Patch 7.2, launching July 9. Fans of the charismatic Vastayan mage Ahri are in for a treat: she's finally getting a full Art & Sustainability Update (ASU). Her base model, skins, and abilities all get a visual glow-up, breathing fresh life into a beloved champion.
But the new content doesn't stop there. Two fresh faces join the roster: Yunara, a marksman blending physical and magic damage, and the iconic Void Terror, Cho'Gath, bringing his massive crowd-control presence from the PC game to mobile.
Beyond the new arrivals, Riot Games is overhauling core gameplay systems. Boot enchantments are out, replaced by a new system of standalone active items. This promises greater build flexibility and strategic depth. The bounty system also sees a significant revamp; bounties now scale with total gold earned, not just kill streaks, aiming to prevent runaway snowballing and offer better comeback potential.
